Black and White Tourists Visit Egypt

2006 12 x 18.75" ~ 30 x 47.5 cm Hand Pulled Serigraph ~ 18 StencilsEdition 51 ~ Artist Proofs 7

One of the magical things I find when visiting an interesting historical destination, is that occasionally you will run into complete strangers, and strike up a conversation, as if you have known each other forever. In "Black and White Tourists Visit Egypt," I explore the opportunity to exchange cultural differences, and perspectives, using animals which are obviously from different continents, in the spectacularly colorful setting of an Egyptian Pyramid. The Hieroglyphs, (which are Phonetically based), do contain a pearl of wisdom.
