Bud was our second pet, Bogey our dog picked him out from a litter of kittens at a friend's house. After he mauled this particular kitten for the better part of an hour, Bogey finally got bored and went to lie down. A few seconds later this soaking wet kitten, it's fur all spiked up with dog saliva, came trotting into the room, looked around, and ran over to the dog. "I guess he's ours." I said to my husband.
"I guess so." He replied.
